Description
This is a Japanese antique " BIWA & BACHI "
It is a Japanese musical instrument called a Chikuzen-biwa,
and is a 4 bowstring 5 bridge type.
It was made from Japanese zelkova of beautiful grain,
and there is decoration of zouge.
The old BACHI was made from the hard wood.
Varnish was applied to the front side of a tear type body later.
As it is in a picture, one small crack and one fret were fixed.
Although tuning is not carried out, sound sounds greatly.
