Great Japanese Samurai Sword WW2 Officer GUNTO Edo Period Blade
Swordsmith signature : KANESADA
I think it is probably the Early Edo period Kanesada.
Beautiful HAMON : Gunome midare
This blade has the features of the HAMON (blade pattern) of Kanesada.
It is Very sharped because an expert has polished it recent year.
Blade material : Tamahagane (玉鋼)
There are some minor kizu as you can see them in the photographs.
No serious damages.
