Antique Japanese Edo Meiji TOBIGUCHI Destruction weapon fireman Tool

During the Edo era and first part of the Meiji era,

many people took the lead, and had tattoos done to show "style," and "spirit,"including "fire-extinguisher" 
and people with beautiful or large tattoos were as heroes in public baths

This TOBIGUCHI was tool for a HIKESHI (a Japanese fireman of Edo or Meiji era) 

it  sometimes become the weapon for the rough firemen.

The handle was made from Hard wood.

And inside of the wood is steel, so it's  strong.

Very good condition. 

There are rusts as you can see them in the photographs.



No broken, No wonky.
