This is a KATANA sword in late Muromachi more than 500 years old.
Certificate / NBTHK HOZON, (Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai).
Worthy of Preservation (yellow paper) .

Hamon : Suguha
Jihada : Itame hada and Ayasugi hada (Great Hataraki)
Blade material : Tamahagane （玉鋼）
This is the old polish. However, Very sharpe even now.
there are some light rust on the surface.
